Q. How can I pay for my order?
A. We currently accept Visa/Visa Electron/MasterCard/Solo/Debit and Switch. Also, payments by PayPal are accepted. We do not accept Amex or credit cards issued outside of the UK. Additionally for trade, government, charity and military customers, we accept cheques for orders over the value of £500 (ex VAT). Electronic payments are also accepted. We will proceed with orders only when cleared funds have been received in full for the order total!

Q. Is my credit card number safe from hackers?
A. Firstly, we do not collect or store any credit/debit card information on our servers or office computers. Also, we do not take credit/debit card information over the phone. Our staffs do not have access to any details of your payment, except for the amount you paid for your order. When placing your order, your credit/debit card details are encrypted and send to secure payment gateway for processing and authorisation. We use the SSL Certificate, which is displayed each time you logon to your account, when entering payment details or when contacting us via our website. Each browser displays a gold padlock in a different place, but you can always check the address for https:// string, which indicates Secure Socket Layer connection. When in secure connection mode, our web address should show https://www.b2bcctv.co.uk/anything_here . If you see something different, please let us know.

Secondly, if you are a UK resident using a UK issued card for a transaction over £100 you are automatically protected by Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974. This means, that if a trader fraudulently charges your card for something that you did not order, then the credit card company are equally liable for the debt. In practise this means, that the credit card company would refund you for the fraudulent charge whilst making the corresponding charge directly to us. Given the above, in practise putting your card details into a secure Internet site are much safer than giving them over an unsecured telephone line.

Q. When do you take payment for my order?
A. We do not charge debit / credit cards until the order is ready to be shipped. All orders that are placed will only be charged when the goods are ready to be dispatched. Your order will only be processed once authorisation of your credit/debit card has been properly received.

 Q. My credit card was charged twice for the same order.
A. In the rare event where you have been charged twice for the same order, please Contact Us immediately and we will investigate this issue with our Bank on your behalf. Please note, we do not process any transaction manually.

Q. My card has been declined, but I’m sure, there’s nothing wrong with it.
A. Please read the error message first, then ensure you have entered correct Credit or Debit Card billing address, i.e. the address that your bank has you registered at.

Also, very often banks run a random security check and in many cases this is the issue. As we do not process any payments manually, you will need to contact your bank to solve the problem and inform them about your purchase. Your failed order will be saved and you will have another chance to pay for it.
